Experience the incredible primary forest that belong to the families of the community Campo Cocha. Here, there are several hiking trails with varying degrees of difficulty. Hikes can last from two hours to six hours, depending on your preference, with an option to spend a night camping  deeper in the jungle.

Like the communities of the banks of the Napo and Arajuno rivers, you will have the opportunity to build your own raft, using ancestral navigation techniques that have been practiced for centuries up to present day. Once you have built your raft, you will take it down the Arajuno and Napo rivers with your local guides.

Amazoonico is a rescue center for animals who have been victims of traffic. Here you can see a diverse variety of animals who are either in recovery or ready to be released back into their natural habitat. By visiting  the center you are contributing to the safety and rescue projects for the animals in the Amazon

Learn about our Kichwa lifestyle by visiting the home of a family. Many of the Kichwa families now use electricity in their homes but retain their ancestral lifestyle. If you visit the home of a Kichwa family you will learn a lot about everyday life. You will have the chance to experience everything from the preparing chicha to practicing ancestral hunting techniques. 

Cacao & chocolate

Learn the process of harvesting cocoa and preparing Amazonian artisanal chocolate. We will teach how to harvest the cocoa, explain its history, and how to transform this fruit into a chocolate tablet, with the opportunity to enjoy the end product.
